Review:

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. That’s the title of this issue but the content of this issue doesn’t reflect the title at all. It seems this issue have two totally different and seperated story who happened at the same time. And after reading its first two issue, I think that Venditti actually doesn’t have any idea how and where he should put Hal Jordan in this story arc so he just makes him brawl countless Yellow Lantern.

On the other side, the plot for the Green Lanterns is a good one. I love to see them start all over again. Building everything from the beginning. As for the fans of Guy Gardner, you probably will getting more Gardner story in the next issue as he’s appointed to do recon job for the Green Lanterns.

And as the previous one, Rafa Sandoval and Tomeu Morey continue their great work in this issue. As long as they work for this series, it seems the art won’t become the problem at all as they provide us with some masterpiece.

Conclusion:

This is actually not a really bad issue but… I’m gonna give this one a bad score because I don’t get enough Hal Jordan. When you’re putting Hal Jordan in the title, people actually came to pick up this issue for a Hal Jordan adventure so please involved him in the plot.

Score: C-
